Along with our partner organisation we offer a range of Vocational Rehabilitation training opportunities focussed on knowledge transfer and skills development, which can be customised to meet the unique needs of your organisation. Our current training portfolio includes:

UK FCE Training in partnership with Roy Matheson and Associates (RMA)

MathesonObair & partner, with RMA, a renowned vocational rehabilitation training company in the USA, have developed and offer a UK version of the Matheson FCE training. Participants will be able to conduct and interpret objective, systematic functional capacity evaluations. For more information on RMA view www.roymatheson.com

MODAPTS – (Modular Arrangement of Pre-determined Time Standards)

Sue Gillmer, an Obair Associate, is an international MODAPTS trainer and offers this certificate course. Participants will be able to measure employee productivity and work performance and identify and minimise the risk of musculoskeletal disorder and work related stress.

Ergonomics for the Manual Work Environment

A course that provides participants with the skills and tools to objectively assess job design & methods, the work environment and the worker’s performance, in order to identify, prioritise and minimise the risk of injury/re-injury and facilitate performance.

Job Demands Analysis

A course that provides participants with the skills  to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the physical, cognitive and perceptual demands of a job, which can facilitate job matching for FCEs and the development of successful, meaningful return to work programmes.

Vocational Rehabilitation Counselling

A course that provides participants with the skills and tools within vocational rehabilitation counselling including vocational rehabilitation counselling techniques, how to conduct and develop an objective vocational evaluation, effective vocational rehabilitation planning and implementation to enable an individual with  an injury, health condition or disability retain or return to work.
